Alter the Wolf [Boomified]

We're a little late to the party, but here he is nonetheless!

This is how I believe Alter would appear in the universe of Sonic Boom. The design isn't a major departure from his usual look, but I can elaborate a bit on the choices that went into it. From the beginning of his conception, Alter has always been somewhat inspired from Neo of the Matrix trilogy. For the Boom design, I wanted to further delve into that by giving him a jacket closer in appearance to Neo's trench coat and sunglasses (which were scrapped in the final design).

His boots now have belt buckles on them with straps, and the stripes along the center have rounded rims and glow now like the circuitry on his jacket and cuffs. The section of the boots where the toes are was inspired by Silver's boots. I thought they would look pretty fresh on Alter. The stars on his jacket and boots were added as an experiment, though I may keep them if I ever draw Boom Alter again.

And lastly, the hair. It's meant to resemble his POC 2 hairstyle, only it's a lot longer in the back and makes it seem like he has a ponytail. I think that was one of the first things I knew for certain I wanted in the Boom design.

So, there you have it! I may make more Boomified versions of some of my other characters in due time. But for now stay tuned for some POC updates, and enjoy!
